American youth idolize their sports stars. They have already many such idols from the days of the baseball players Babe Ruth and Shoeless Joe Jackson till the stars of today: the football player Peyton Manning and the baseball player Derek Jeter. Fans observe and repeat their every move.
Isn’t it dangerous to idolize sports stars of nowadays? It can be risky. Nowadays sports heroes earn millions of dollars due to usage of steroids. Although the NFL and the MLB fight against doping, the war seems to be unsuccessful. Administration of steroids like cancer destructs sports. However American youth are educated about dangerous side results of these medicines, the results are not good.
It is said that youth are suppressed to use steroids. They put efforts to meet the required criteria of college admission; they idolize current professional athletes. The all these factors promote administrating steroids.
Of course, all parents desire their children to succeed. If children go info sports, their parents want them to compete successfully and to continue to play professionally. Children realize that it is difficult to do it. Which are the results? The pressure impacts greatly on American youth. Over 10 % of teenagers feel that they need to cheat in order to have success. College admission levels have dropped because of budget cuts. The Recovery Place supposes that it may lead to the situation, when high school students will look for alternative methods to have ability to stand out among crowds. Abuse of steroids can seem for teenagers to be the best alternative mean.
American youth know that numerous professional sportspersons have succeeded differently. Some of them did it due to their talents and hard workouts; others administrated steroids and other related products. If American youth follow those who dope, which will be the results?
Prolonged administration of steroids may cause addiction to these medications. Moreover, steroid users may suffer from such adverse consequences, as liver disorders, cancer, high blood pressure, icterus, kidney dysfunctions and bad cholesterol. These unwanted effects are claimed to be dangerous; they may be life-threatening.
Undoubtedly, parents don’t desire to see their children with health problems. They desire their children to reach goals due to devotion to sports and hard trainings. But it is difficult to do it because many others lie, taking steroids. Now it is time to do everything to push out steroids. These medicines shouldn’t disturb to achieve our goals.

Steroid use in baseball
There is a theme which promotes heated discussions. Especially baseball fans are excited, in case they hear about steroids and their impact on this sport. Thus, if you want to cause heated discussions, you just have to note that several baseball stars win due to administration of steroids.
Various individuals have various opinions, when it comes to the theme about steroids. Sometimes it is difficult to comprehend why some individuals that play baseball take steroids. Do they play baseball just for money? Are they so blinded by money and other awards that they do everything for these perspectives? Of course, the most respected baseball players are those that stay far from steroid use and win due to natural talents. Those are worth of respect, honor and awards that are not lured to dope for achievement of their goals.
It is believed that users of steroids shouldn’t be elected for the Hall of Fame. This aspect represents trying to escape from shame related to the steroid era. You may observe efforts to leave all negative effects in past and to move further. But do these efforts to demonize consumers of steroids mean that the steroid era is over? Actually, a wrong impression is created here. The steroid era is not behind us yet. Those who think that blaming steroid users mean that baseball is drug-free are mistaken.
Everyone knows that many baseball players have taken anabolic steroids and other related drugs. Furthermore, no one doubts that nowadays there are such players of baseball that continue to use forbidden drugs. Many people discuss whether a player with average skills can become great due to usage of prohibited medications. Some individuals claim that without proper talents steroids do not profit. Talents should present. Others don’t agree with this affirmation. They claim that steroids are able to increase performance whatever talent an athlete has.
But the problem is that we condemn players who dope alone. But not only players must be condemned for the steroid era. Everybody knows what happens really during the steroid era.
It is unlikely that the steroid era has come to the end. Baseball hasn’t yet past the dark clouds. Steroid use is still deeply in the heart of baseball. Decisive efforts should present to be sure that doping doesn’t affect baseball anymore.

Since the Dominican Republic is a poor country, athletes try to get a contract to play in the MLB and move to the U. S.
The Major League Baseball tries to do everything to stop using steroids. It desires to nip doping in the bud. Then it will be capable to achieve the big show. A location where the efforts of the MLB are used and clearly seen is the Dominican Republic.
Those that live in the Dominican Republic desire to play professional baseball in the U. S. This is not only a dream. This desire becomes real. So, the whole family changes the location where the family lives. Unluckily, numerous persons are lured to administrate steroids and other related medicines to reach their goal.
The Dominican Republic is a country in which numerous people use steroids and other products that increase performance. That’s why an athlete from this location is asked whether he has taken steroids or other related drugs. Of course, this individual claims that he has never doped because tests are performed and everybody fears to be caught administrating any controlled substance.
The MLB subjects to tests players from the Dominican Republic. So, one year 13 persons out of 40 tested amateur sportspersons from this location tested positive. The MLB intends to tests Dominicans and to punish those that dope.
It is proclaimed that the number of Dominicans that are sent to the MLB is essentially higher than the number of players that are sent from all countries of the Latin America.
The MLB tries to push steroids out of baseball. Amateur players are taught about risks for their health linked with steroids. They are taught about unwanted effects that can be provoked by steroids.
The financial position of the Dominican Republic is a great problem in this case. The average salary is approximately 8, 5000 dollars per year there. To obtain a signing bonus of 180, 000 dollars is a real achievement for any player from this Republic. That’s why athletes from the Dominican Republic are especially inclined to dope for such perspectives. They want to get a contract for playing professional baseball in the MLB. They want to obtain it for well-being of their families and for better life in future. Getting a contract means moving from a rented small house to a private home, from poverty to normal life, from travelling by bus to driving own car.
Actually, doping is not a problem only in the Dominican Republic. It is a trouble that destroys the whole world. No one athlete can be sure whether he competes against an individual that has natural skills and talents or against an individual who dopes. That’s why it is important to nip usage of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs in the bud.
Youth should be educated about risks connected with doping not just in the Dominican Republic or just in the U. S. but everywhere.

Baseball will be soon free from steroids and other related drugs
The Major League Baseball experienced some baffling periods of time. It experienced 2 situations which are considered to be 2 world wars for baseball: the 1919 Black Sox scandal and the betting of Pete Rose on baseball. Nowadays the MLB suffers from steroid era. It is widely believed that it will be capable to endure this period as well. There was a case that had a significant impact on baseball too. It was the case related to Barry Bonds.
Of course, Barry Bonds was not the only baseball player that applied performance-enhancing drugs. Moreover, he is not the last of them. A lot of baseball players have taken banned medicines to promote performance. Numerous players of baseball have received praise and millions of dollars due to usage of banned medicines.
The sums of money which may be gotten justify the risks related to administration of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. The baseball players that take prohibited medicines do not worry so scrupulously about their reputation, as they trouble about obtaining of money. Such people are responsible for the influence which is spread upon fans that try to be similar to them and upon future generation that will have hot debates about baseball and the steroid era.
Nobody can doubt that any baseball player that uses steroids destroys his honor. It is made just because of money. Such individual trades own reputation just for obtaining money.
Nonetheless, it is believed that future of baseball is without steroid use. Many baseball players have talents and proper skills; they train intensively and devote themselves totally to this sport. They are honest persons. They keep their reputation. Such individuals love baseball truthfully. They don’t care only about money. Such baseball players are motivated by truthful love to baseball.
Actually, the MLB bans steroids. But unluckily, there are persons in each sport who profit from administration of steroids.
Our hope is bright: we believe that the day comes, when we’ll observe sportspersons who compete not because of doping but due to natural talents, skills and intensive workouts.

A sportsperson who administrates steroids is a cheater
The topic connected with steroids appears everywhere. It is widely discussed by many persons. Every day many articles report about these drugs. You read news which report about individuals that take steroids. You read about those who are caught selling steroids and sentenced to probation or imprisonment. Although steroids are recommended for various patients to cure them from certain diseases, usage of these products for increase of performance is more widely spread. It seems that it corrupts the whole world.
Many persons are controlled by money. If they may get money due to distribution or usage of anabolic steroids, they do it. They are not stopped by the steroid laws. They take and distribute these preparations, although they are claimed to be illegal in certain countries. Numerous people break steroid laws because they can obtain money, distributing and/or taking steroids.
Undoubtedly, you have read many articles about wrestlers that have applied forbidden products for many years. Some of users died because of sudden attacks, being young. But no one wants to acknowledge that fatal cases happen due to steroids. A lot of persons deny connections between life-threatening diseases and usage of steroids.
The Major League Baseball put efforts to escape from steroid era. We hope that the time comes, when baseball will be played without drugs and winners will be decided due to natural talent and skills of players but not due to performance-enhancing drugs.
It is impossible to be convinced that you realize how wide spread usage of banned medicines is in professional and non-professional sports. Administration of steroids by competitive sportspersons is cheating. If sportspersons use medications which enhance performance, they lie. They take unfair advantage during competitions.
Any consumer of steroids who goes info sports should define whether he/she has talent to be involved in sports. If he/she can’t compete, he/she should have another job. Everyone must do the job he/she really can do. So, if you are not able to play football, you must choose another job.
There is a hope that intake of steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs will be pushed out of sports. It may be that it will be soon in the future. Who knows?

A man that cares about 2 adopted children and 3 children of his disabled brother is sentenced to prison for breaking steroid laws
The laws that ban usage of anabolic steroids have appeared because of certain conditions. They turned out to be responses to widespread administration of steroids in competitive sports. Anti-Doping Agencies believed that prohibition of steroids would keep professional athletes far from administration of illegal drugs. But criminalization of steroids influenced on intake of steroids by competitive sportspersons slightly.
The steroid laws usually don’t prosecute sportspeople that administrate illegal preparations. On the contrary, non-competitive sportspeople and recreational bodybuilders are usually targets of the steroid laws. They suffer due to consequences of breaking these laws.
This is not only one’s opinion. Real facts display it. Let realize: who is sentenced to imprisonment because of selling steroids? For example, Ashley Dewayne Rivers of Alabama was sentenced to 5-month imprisonment because he had sold about $2000 worth of steroids to a health care provider. Actually, this person wasn’t the target of a steroid investigation. He only turned out to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The estranged wife of this physician said to federal investigators that her husband was involved in operations of black steroid market. Thus, the affirmation of this woman caused the situation, when the doctor was investigated.
In fact, Ashley Rivers was a distributor of steroids for short time. This man supplied his friends of his gym with these medicines. James Robinson, the defense attorney for Ashley Rivers, confirmed that his client had understood his guilty wholly and taken the total responsibility for his illegal operations. The attorney stated that Rivers was a moral man. However he broke the steroid laws, he recognized the dangers and admitted to his guilty.
The attorney for Rivers Ashley asked the judge to sentence his client only to probation. Ashley Rivers cared about his physically impaired wife, 2 children that were adopted by him and 3 children of his disabled brother. Furthermore, this man gave about 40, 000 dollars for persons that lost their homes because of tornadoes. It would be better, if Rivers Ashley were sentenced to probation. Rivers Ashley would continue to work for his family and other people.
But Christopher Brinson, the Assistant U. S. Attorney, refused the request of the defense attorney James Robinson. He claimed that this man committed a serious crime and he should serve time in prison. Although the judge was inclined to agree with the request of the defense attorney James Robinson at the beginning, finally he made the decision to agree with the Assistant U.S. Attorney and sentenced Ashley Rivers to 5 months in jail.

The Cuban-American former baseball player noted that he had suffered from some side reactions due to administration of steroids. Thus, his health care provider had to prescribe him a testosterone gel to relieve from reduced libido and depression.
While Jose Canseco tried to restore his natural production of testosterone, he got certain troubles with laws. This former baseball player was detained for about 9 hours by the San Diego Immigration and Customs Enforcement after he had been caught possessing a vial of HCG at the international border. Steroid use represents certain risks for MMA
Some mixed martial artists have publicly acknowledged that they use anabolic steroids as a part of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) which has been prescribed by doctors. The executive director of the Nevada State Athletic commission (NSAC) Keith Kizer claims that this aspect has created an impression among many persons that steroid exemptions are given to permit MMA fighters to administrate the steroid testosterone.
During an interview with Ben Fowlkes of MMA Fighting Kizer noticed that several people thought that any fighter could obtain exemptions for intake of testosterone. He noticed that he couldn’t say it about other states but he mentioned about the situation in Nevada. According to Keith Kizer, it is 50/50 whether a request for steroid exemption will be approved.
TRT is a treatment which is required for adult men that suffer from hypogonadism (reduced testosterone levels). If athletes correspond to the medical criteria, they may be allowed to administrate steroids.
The NSAC has strict requirements for fighter that try to get a therapeutic use exemption (TUE) for usage of steroids. A fighter must have the document that manifests that blood levels of testosterone are reduced. But if a sportsperson has reduced testosterone level, it is not enough to get a TUE. Treating physicians must name reasons and medical conditions. The details connected with testosterone replacement therapy must be described by doctors too. Every detail should display that a fighter has to administrate testosterone for clinical purposes and usage of steroids will not give unfair advantage to the athlete.
Some top athletes of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) have applied steroids for TRT. Chael Sonnen, Nate Marquardt, Dennis Hallman and Dan Henderson belong to the starts of the UFC who use steroids for medical needs.
Kizer claims that prohibition of steroids makes MMA safer. He adds that if a fighter uses steroids, he/she takes unfair advantage as if it is used knuckles that are hidden inside gloves. Thus, this is not only lying. This situation is connected with risks for life. If you say to a fighter that you can put knuckles in the gloves so, as no one will know it, this person will say you not to bother him. But it is strangely that such person administrates steroids.
It goes without saying that administration of steroids has possible risks to enhance the harm which can be caused in MMA.

Unwise actions of a father that wanted his son became an Olympic athlete
James Gahan injected his son Corey who is 13 years old with anabolic steroids. He wanted him to become an Olympic athlete.
This boy became an inline skating champion at the national level. This boy won the 2004 Inline Speed Skating Nationals. He also won the 2nd place at the 2005 National Indoor Speed Skating Championship.
Corey’s father pleaded guilty in possessing and injecting steroids to his young son. This person collaborated with a trainer from Florida to supply his son with following medicines: testosterone, Deca Durabolin, HGH and HCG. This person was arrested in May, 2004. As a result of his illegal actions, he received 6 years in prison.
Since James Gahan had already served his time in a jail, he was released. James Gahan began to confirm that his attitude to steroids and other forbidden medications had been changed totally. This person discussed with high school athletes about dangers connected with administration of steroids. It was a part of his community service to which he had been ordered by the court.
James Gahan noted nothing about influence of steroids on the life and health of his son. He noted just about own experiences with these medications. This person noticed that if someone desired to see side results of anabolic steroids, he might manifest them because he administrated these drugs. He mentioned that he took 45 tablets per day and his insides had eroded.
Actually, James didn’t explain what he meant, confirming that his insides had eroded because of steroids. He didn’t say anything about his disease which required 45 tablets per one day!
James said about Corey that he had known everything they had done. But he noticed that since he was the father, he took the complete responsibility upon himself. But he concluded that it would be better for Corey to admit that he had lied.
But Corey doesn’t want to talk to his father who has provided him with steroids. Earlier he has said that his father has never been sorry for giving steroids to him; he has been sorry because he has been caught doing it.

Colin Daynes will not represent Canada at the 2012 London Olympics
The Greco-Roman wrestler Colin Daynes desired to represent Canada at the 2012 London Olympics. Unluckily, his dreams will not be real. Intake of banned medications became a reason for it. This wrestler was caught taking steroids, diuretics and a selective estrogen receptor modulator.
Earlier Colin Daynes won the 74 kg division at the Canadian Wrestling Qualification Trials.
According to the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sports, Colin Daynes tested positive for such forbidden preparations, as boldenone, drostanolone, furosemide and tamoxifen. Boldenone and drostanolone are anabolic steroids that are better known under their trade names: Equipose and Masteron. When it comes to Tamoxifen, it is known as Nolvadex. This medication is usually used in combinations with several others in order to minimize water retention. Furosemide or Lasix is a diuretic. Wrestlers take this drug as well as other diuretics to lose body weight to correspond to requirements of certain weight categories.
Colin Daynes acknowledged that he had used anabolic steroids and other banned products intentionally. He noted that he had used these products to get recovery from a partially-torn bicep and an elbow injury. But this wrestler added that he hadn’t known that these medications were forbidden by the WADA. Daynes blamed his prescriber for this case. He said that he had consulted a naturopathic doctor that advised him using these drugs. Colin Daynes noted that if he had known that the products were forbidden, he would not have competed.
This wrestler represented Canada at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. After he won the national trials in 2008 he was going to compete at the Beijing Olympics. But he didn’t participate in this Olympics because he couldn’t qualify internationally. Recently this person won the Canadian Wrestling Qualifying Trials in December, 2011, and was scheduled to secure his allowance for the 2012 London Olympics through the competition at the Pan American Wrestling Championship.
But due to usage of banned drugs Colin Daynes has received 2-year ban. It means that this wrestler is not allowed to compete till December 2012, when his athletic career ends as well.
Colin Daynes claimed that he had represented the native country proudly. He concluded that people could judge him, if they wanted to do it after his 25-year successful career and everything he had done.

Some persons are shocked by the decision of the US Attorney’s Office to close the case against Lance Armstrong
The case against Lance Armstrong connected with doping is proclaimed to be closed. This person remains to be considered a 7-time winner at Tour de France.
It is known that federal prosecutors put efforts to determine whether Lance Armstrong and his teammates have joined a doping program. The length of the investigation has been about 2 years.
Lance Armstrong denied that he has used forbidden drugs. The accusations against this person threatened to his athletic career as well as to his Foundation of cancer research and support. The efforts to prove that this cyclist took steroids were in vain.
This cyclist noticed that he had heard that the US Attorney’s Office made a decision to close the case. He noted that it was a right decision. Armstrong concluded that he was waiting to continue his usual life, being a father, a competitor and an advocate in the fight against cancer.
Andre Birote, an attorney proclaimed during a press conference that the US Attorney’s Office closed the investigation linked with the case of Lance Armstrong. This person didn’t notice about any reason of this decision. But he just said that previous similar cases were also closed.
For example, the investigation connected with Barry Bonds was claimed to be less-than-successful. Prosecutors were not able to prove that this sportsperson had cheated about administration of steroids. As for the case related to Roger Clemens, the trial was indicated for another time because the judge proclaimed about previous mistrial.
Investigators suspected that a doping program was organized by Armstrong’s team. They wanted to determine whether it was so as they suspected. Authorities investigated whether Armstrong encouraged or promoted doping.
Actually, prosecutors put efforts to learn whether Lance Armstrong and his team broke federal conspiracy and fraud charges. While Barry Bonds testified before a federal grand jury and Clemens testified before Congress, Armstrong wasn’t required to present before a grand jury. Barry Bonds and Clemens were charged with lying under oath.
The former Armstrong’s teammate Frank and her wife Betsy Andreu accused Armstrong in administration of controlled substance. They confirmed that they were shocked by the decision to close the case. They added that such cases happened due to money and corruption.

Possible risks related to steroids are exaggerated
Tge Wisconsin University professor Norm Fost claims about some common misconceptions linked with anabolic steroids. However some experts proclaim about severe and even fatal side consequences of anabolic steroids, Dr. Fost denies these affirmations, confirming that they don’t have any scientific basis.
But statements of this doctor are not so often quoted by media as affirmations about dangerous adverse reactions of steroids. Thus, the message of Norm Fost that steroids aren’t so harmful, as it is believed, is noticed once for every 500-time conclusion that steroids represent a real evil.
Moreover, editors usually mislead readers, writing the quotes of this expert wrongly. For example, a headline of a radio talk sounds following: “UW-Madison doctor: steroids aren’t harmful at all”. The headline is wrong. It is misleading. Norm Fost has never confirmed that steroids were not harmful at all. It is evident that these substances may lead to different undesirable effects. Norm fost doesn’t deny risks of occurring undesirable symptoms. In fact, this doctor says some other things. This physician notes that possible risks of steroids are essentially exaggerated. Norm Fost denies the statement that steroids cause the rare type of brain cancer. According to some sources, this caused the death of Lyle Alzado, a player of the NFL. Norm Fost claims that there is no any link between the death of this player and steroids.
Alzado demonized his prolonged steroid abuse for the primary brain lymphoma that finally caused his death. Assertion of this person was the only evidence that indicated about the connection between his administration of steroids and the brain cancer.
But a question appears here. Why did Alzado make public his steroid use, blaming anabolic steroids for his illness? Couldn’t you find this fact strange?
In fact, it was said that AIDS had suppressed his immune system and promoted destructing his body by the primary brain lymphoma.
A pathologist said that Alzado had had T-cell lymphoma which was linked with AIDS. According to Dr. Thomas DeLoughery, Alzado feared that the public would know that he died from AIDS because of the cancer.
Pathologists at OHSU reported that this football player had had B-cell lymphoma which was not linked with HIV or AIDS.
The physician DeLoughery explained the situation. He said that T-cells of this person were inflamed but the malignant cells were B-cells.
While experts disputed about AIDS and the type of cancer which Alzado had, no one of them confirmed about links between his brain lymphoma and intake of steroids.

Anna Watson needs to gain 50 pounds of muscles to obtain a modeling contract
Anna Watson, an university cheerleader of Georgia, noted that she was pressured to take steroids to obtain a fitness modeling contract. Her modeling agent recommended her to use Anavar to obtain needed 50 pounds of muscles. This lady was tempted but finally she refused this recommendation. This lady claimed that her body was “a temple” and she wouldn’t destroy it.
This person mentioned that she had been tempted by administration of steroids a lot of times. The agent tried to present steroids as something good.
It was noticed that she would obtain a $75,000 per year fitness modeling contract, if she use steroids and get 50 pounds of muscles. Anna Watson said that she told representatives of Elite Model Management in Paris. Elite is one of the most prestigious modeling networks. Such celebrated models, as Adriana Lima, Cindy Crawfors and Gisele Bundchen belong to Elite.
But Anna Watson has chosen to be better a cheerleader at the University than to be involved in the glamorous world. In addition to this aspect, this lady refused to take steroids because this aspect was not in harmony with her religious principles. She noticed that she didn’t serve a modeling agent but the Lord. This lady added that she had been created as a nice creation. This lady made a conclusion that she would not break her moral and religious principles only to take photos. Anna Watson made a decision not to destroy her health.
Several questions appear, reading these statements. One could ask whether Elite Model Management looks for models who have the same appearance like competitive female bodybuilders. Or may be Anna Watson just desire to draw public’s attention by taking advantage of bad attitude to steroids?
It is evident that if Anna Watson gets 50 pounds of muscles, she will be allowed to compete on national bodybuilding stage. But what is for contract of 75, 000 dollars per year? Athletes know that such sums of money are not obtained easily even in sports. But can such large sum of money be received from modeling agency? It is controversial.
Females that are involved in bodybuilding fight greatly to get prize money. Women with muscular appearance are more likely to obtain money from “schmoes” (men that have sexual fetish for muscular women) than from such prestigious modeling agencies, as Elite.

King Mo Lawal used the dietary supplement S-Mass Lean Gainer that contained steroids
King Mo Lawal acknowledged that he had taken a dietary supplement that was tainted. As it turned out to be, that supplement contained 2 ingredients that were synthetic steroids. According to this fighter and his manager, consumption of this product caused positive for Masteron.
King Mo Lawal noticed during an interview for MMA Hour that he had got “S-Mass Lean Gainer” in a Max Muscle store in April, 2010. This product was produced by Steel Body Production.
But this is not the situation, when steroid ingredients are not disclosed. Synonyms of prohibited preparations are written on the label of this supplement. Actually, these steroids were the subjects of certain debates between anti-doping organizations and federal regulators since 2005. They are following: 2a-17a-Dimethyl-5aandrost-3-one 17b-ol and 4-Chloro-17a-Methyl-a-andro4-ene3, 17b-diol. These drugs are better known under the names: Superdrol and Promagnon.
As for Superdrol, it goes by methyldrostanolone, methasteron and 2a-17a-Dimethyl-5aandrost-3-one 17b-ol. Thus, methylated version of Masteron was defined in the urine sample of Lawal by a proper lab of the anti-doping agency.
The pharmaceutical company Anabolic Resources was the first that produced Superdrol as a dietary supplement. It was more than 5 years ago. This company was charged with elaborating of a new unapproved preparation. Later the company pleaded guilty and acknowledged that they had marketed a synthetic steroid as a dietary supplement. As a result, Anabolic Resources had to pay a fine of 500, 000 dollars.
As for Promagnon, it also initially appeared as a dietary supplement in 2005 by Peak Performance’ Labs. The government didn’t take any action against this company for producing and selling this steroid. But the company made a decision to stop manufacturing this steroid in 2006.
Although legal status of these two substances is controversial, many companies have manufactured and distributed them as dietary supplements during about 6 years. Undoubtedly, those who are involved in this industry know about the status of these steroids but they continue to sell them.
Mike Kogan, the manager for King Mo Lawal, says that the full responsibilities must be taken by the companies that market synthetic steroids as dietary supplements. He believes that such companies misguide consumers intentionally.

Ryan Braun confirms that he hasn’t taken steroids
Although Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers faces a suspension for usage of anabolic steroids, he accepted his Most Valuable Player Award at the dinner of Baseball Writers Association. This sportsman didn’t acknowledge to intake of forbidden medicines. This baseball player noticed that he had turned to be a victim of a false positive. This person fights against the results that have been proclaimed.
Altough it has been recently discussed whether consumers of steroids are allowed to be voted for Baseball’s Hall of Fame, they don’t forfeit their Most Valuable Player awards. Even admitted consumers of steroids keep their MVP awards.
Jack O’Connell proclaimed that Ryan Braun would be permitted to keep the MVP awards. Earlier other users of steroids were permitted also to keep their MVP awards. For example, Ken Caminity kept his 1996 MVP award; Alex Rodriquez kept his 2003 MVP award. Both these persons admitted that they had used steroids.
According to testosterone: epitestosterone (T: E) ratio, Braun had elevated level of testosterone in October 2011. The T: E ratio has indicated about exogenous type of testosterone. In fact, this test can’t indicate actual quantity of used testosterone.
Another method of testing was applied by the World Anti-Doping Agency accredited lab in Montreal to confirm the analysis of the T: E ratio testing. It was used carbon isotope ratio testing which confirmed about existence of exogenous testosterone.
Several sportswriters considered that Ryan Braun should have forfeited his MVP awards due to the positives for steroids. But this player made another decision. He decided to accept the awards and address with the speech about false charges with intake of steroids. He said that characters of individuals are revealed in such cases of adversary. This American baseball player confirmed that he had a great respect to baseball. This player added that he made a lot for his career in this sport but he had done everything with respect and appreciation to baseball.
It was said that Ryan Braun had been one of the youngest players of the Major League Baseball that didn’t feel needs to take steroids to be able to play. When this player found out about positive of Alex Rodriquez for steroids, he was too surprised. He mentioned that Alex Rodriquez should have been enough honest to admit to usage of forbidden products.
Ryan Braun made a decision to fight against the results of his tests, saying that unusual circumstances surrounded this case. He said that he would display his innocence and false positives.

Is there any relation between Alexandre Dougnier and Jacques Anquetil?
Administration of anabolic steroids and other medications that increase performance is widespread among amateur as well as professional sportspeople. It isn’t surprisingly, when athletes test positive for controlled drugs. But there are some unusual situations, when a person tests positive for numerous forbidden products. Here is a situation.
The teenage amateur French cyclist Alexandre Dougnier tested positive for more than 10 banned products, including more than 5 steroid metabolites. It was at a race in France in May, 2011. This person has received 3-year ban from competitions.
It was defined that this young cyclist had taken such steroids, as Anavar, Dianabol and Winstrol. Other steroid metabolites which were discovered in his urine sample included 3-Hydroxystanozolol, 16b-Hydroxystanozolol, 4b-Hydroxystanozolol, Oxandrolone, epi-Oxandrolone, 6b-Hydroxymethandienone and 17-epi-Methandienone.
This amateur cyclist was a member of the Parisian Athletic Club de Boulogne-Billancourt. Some individuals note that this amateur cyclist might have been a follower of the club’s doper Jacques Anquetil. This person has been considered to be a celebrated individual of cycling’s history. Jacques Anquetil was a member of the club de Boulogne-Billancourt in 1950s and 1960s. Jacques Anquetil was the first cyclist who had won the Tour de France 5 times. This person had obtained also 2 Olympic medals.
Jacques Anquetil administrated steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. Furthermore, this cyclist defended doping during a TV debate with the French sports minister. He said that it was impossible to endure cold, heat waves and rain in mountains during cycling without doping. Jacques Anquetil confirmed that only a fool person would endure these conditions connected with the extreme sport of cycling without doping. This well-known cyclist noted that drug testing might deprive individual liberty. Jacques Anquetil concluded that everybody doped.
It is necessary to mention steroids were not so widespread among cyclists in 1950s and 1960s. Administration of more dangerous amphetamines was more widespread during those years. As for administration of anabolic steroids, it has become more widespread during past 2 decades.
Let mention which affirmations have been said about steroids, when other cyclists have used them. When Floyd Landis was caught applying testosterone, it was argued by his legal team that neither anabolic steroids, nor other performance-enhancing drugs were capable to enhance performance in cyclists. As for the distributor of steroids Joseph Papp, he didn’t agree with this statement. He mentioned that intake of steroids was widespread in elite cycling. According to his words, a person can use testosterone gels in a clever way without being detected by anti-doping programs: users of transdermal testosterone should take in consideration time of detection.
Alexandre Dougnier was not cautious and didn’t attempt to avoid detection. He probably didn’t suppose that cyclists would be tested for forbidden drugs at the race in Aubervilliers.

King Mo Lawal says he has never heard about Masteron
Quinton Rampage Jackson and King Mo Lawal don’t have good relations. They didn’t show their dislike to each other for some years. During an interview Lawal noted about their relationships, mentioning that he doesn’t like Rampage Jackson who also doesn’t like him.
That’s why it is not surprisingly at all that Rampage Jackson expressed his thoughts about the fact connected with Lawal’s positive for drostanolone (Masterone).
Jackson mentioned that it was quite evident that Lawal had used steroids. He noted that King Mo wasn’t a true fighter. He administrated steroids to have ability to fight.
Rampage Jackson noted that there were fighters that were permitted to administrate steroids. He referred to those who had to use steroids for testosterone replacement therapy. This person noted that it was a real difference between goals. Fighters and other sportspeople are permitted to administrate steroids for TRT and not for enhancement of performance, according to this mixed martial artist.
This fighter claims that there are people that have certain health troubles. They consult their doctors that prescribe steroids. They use these drugs to become healthier and to stay competitive. But Ranpage Jackson adds that there are fighters that take steroids in order to enhance their performance. It is quite sadly, according to this mixed martial artist.
However, intake of steroids for testosterone replacement therapy by sportspeople is a quite controversial question.
Such fighters, as Dennis Hallman, Chael Sonnen, Nate Marquardt and Dan Henderson admitted that they had taken steroids because of hypogonadism.
So, Rampage Jackson is a fighter that claimed about permission to take steroids as a part of TRT by sportspeople. But there are other fighters that do not support this point of view. A lot of athletes have the same point of view as Michael Bisping has. They claim that administration of steroids is just justified by therapeutic conditions. They proclaim that all fighters that take anabolic steroids, claiming that they are on TRT, are cheaters.
Lawal confirms that he is not guilty, claiming that his manager has heard nothing about the steroid Masterone. Both Lawal and his manager say that they are actually surprised by the results of the test.
A fight between Jackson and Lawal was waiting by many fans. There were certain rumors that they would fight in February, 2012. But the dreams of fans were not justified. Lawal has to serve a suspension.
