Drivers that use steroids get furious easily

Although it is not yet proven scientifically whether uncontrolled aggressive behavior is an adverse result of steroids, these medications are blamed for several crimes quite frequently.
Michael Barton, a man from Britain, hit a Ford Fiesta, while he was driving his Volkswagen Golf. The driver of Ford Fiesta was Paul Gard. Barton had passed Paul Gard. But then Michael Barton had to pull back in front of Paul Gard, since another car was driving the other way. Paul Gard flashed him. Thus, he had to brake immediately. Barton got angered, stopped his Volkswagen Golf, broke the wing mirror of Gard’s vehicle and hit Gard in the face. Then Gard’s wife called police. While she was calling, Barton drove off calmly.
Michael Barton, a 21-year-old person who has a kid of two years old, applies steroids for bulking effects. So, it has been claimed that these substances affected his behavior. The defense attorney for this young person confirmed that steroids influenced negatively on temperament of his client, since these medications increased his levels of testosterone.
Previously Barton was convicted for certain crimes, including domestic violence. Last year he pleaded guilty to an assault, criminal damage and driving carelessly due to his anger following assaults.
The judge Patrick Hooton at Portsmouth Crown Court Deputy Circuit confirmed that he was not sure that steroids were responsible for the situation. But he noted that it was completely mad to get infuriated and hit a man in the face only because he flashed him. The judge noted that Barton’s behavior was too shameful and he said: “you ought to go to prison”.
Thus, this man was given 6-month jail sentence suspended for a year; he was also enforced to pay 500 dollars in compensation and ?277 for damage of the car.

Green tea is more valuable for steroid users than black tea

Sportspersons become more and more sophisticated in usage of steroids. They study new methods to mask their administration of banned drugs. Several athletes spend time studying experts’ affirmations which may help them to hide that they dope. Today a way has been found: sportspersons may mask application of testosterone with the help of green tea.
Testosterone represents a hormone which is produced in body naturally. So, it can be difficult for anti-doping organizations to determine that a person has administered testosterone. T: E ratio testing is usually used by anti-doping organizations. Such tests can manifest unusual ratio of testosterone to epitestosterone in urine. But it doesn’t have capacity to show difference between testosterone which has been produced in body naturally and that introduced into body with the help of injections, creams, etc.
Declan Naughton and his colleagues at Kingston University ( London) have determined that green tea contains such substances which are called “catechins”. They have ability to inhibit the enzyme UGT2B17. This enzyme promotes joining glucuronic acid to testosterone. In case UGT2B17 is inhibited, less testosterone glucoronide is excreted in urine.
Catechins, the substances which have capacity to mask application of testosterone, are contained in green and white tea. Black tea doesn’t have such substances.
Naughton and his colleagues have conducted some experiments. They conclude that a cup of strong green tea mask application of testosterone.
Thus, those athletes who apply testosterone can decrease quantities of testosterone that are excreted in urine by consumption of green or white tea. Green or white tea can block excretion of testosterone, increasing circulating levels of this hormone.
The World Anti-Doping Agency was informed about the findings by the specialists. If this process occurs, it is not worthy to subject sportspersons to urine tests. Blood tests should be performed in order to detect usage of testosterone.
Olivier Rabin, the WADA’s specialist, confirms that regular checks of blood steroids will be added. Everything will be done by anti-doping organizations in order to avoid fooling of urine tests.

Wim Vansevenant should not be punished

The case related to Wim Vansevenant, a former Belgian rider, changed significantly. An analysis manifested that the doping drugs that were ordered by him didn’t contain the contents listed on the labels. The former rider was cheated by the company where he ordered the medications.
Last year several packages sent to Wim Vansevenant by an Australian company were intercepted by customs officials. It was written on the intercepted bottles that they contained the doping medication TB-500. It is a peptide hormone which has ability to enhance muscle power and speed healing. The Belgian authorities started an investigation. It was suspected that Wim Vansevenant supplied the Omega Pharma-Lotto team with doping products. This sportsperson rode professionally 10 years, from 1998 to 2008. Last 6 years of the career he was with this team.
An analysis of the bottles seized by customs illustrated that just amino acids were presented. Wim Vansevenant’s attorney argued that the accusations had to be dropped. He explained that since the medication was not connected with doping, the former sportsperson didn’t deserve to be punished.
The prosecutor’s spokesperson Johan Lescrauwaet affirmed that the contents didn’t correspond to the name of the preparation that was indicated on the label and to the affirmations of the former athlete.
Just amino acids were found in the bottles. No any doping medication. So, there is no any evidence that Wim Vansevenant provided doping drugs to other individuals.
The hearing of the former Belgian professional rider was scheduled to be later.

Bruce Goldberger: nobody can prove that Roger Clemens used steroids, basing just on beer can

Testimonies of the well-known toxicologist Bruce Goldberger will probably impact essentially on decision of the court in the case linked with Roger Clemens. Bruce Goldberger is the Professor of Pathology and Director of Toxicology at the University of Florida College of Medicine. This expert testified on behalf of Roger Clemens. Although he was called in order to replace Don Catlin, the director of the WADA UCLA Medicine, Goldberger’s testimonies differed from those which are usually presented by anti-doping agencies. He testified on behalf of the accused athlete.
Bruce Goldberger has gotten his celebrity due to his appearing on different news programs. Even during such programs he doesn’t abstain from critical words. He criticized certain anti-doping organizations, including the WADA.
Bruce Goldberger expressed criticism for feds in the case connected with Roger Clemens. They based on “beer can evidence” presented by McNamee to support that his client used steroids and HGH. Brian McNamee, the former personal trainer of this sportsperson, provided a beer can with utilized needles and syringes which had traces of such steroids, as Sustanon, Primobolan Depot and Deca Durabolin and were mixed allegedly with Clemens’ blood.  The beer can was kept by McNamee over 6 years. Bruce Goldberger argued that such basis wasn’t reasonable.
Goldberger confirmed that it was impossible to base on “beer can evidence”. He added that the accusation couldn’t be proven because the theory of contamination could present.
Thus, Goldberger didn’t support the evidence used by the feds. Earlier the toxicologist also expressed criticism related to evidence used by certain anti-doping organizations.
Several years ago Bruce Goldberger testified on behalf of Floyd Landis, an American celebrated cyclist, when this sportsman appealed positives for steroids. A WADA-accredited lab situated in France discovered traces of exogenous testosterone; T: E ratio and carbon isotope ratio tests were used by the lab. Goldberger pronounced similar words and criticism during the appeal connected with Floyd Landis.
Bruce Goldberger noted during an interview that the WADA utilized inadequate methods and violated rights of sportspeople in order to achieve the success in anti-doping programs.
As for Floyd Landis, he didn’t have success in his appeal and admitted that he had applied steroids, EPO and certain other related medicines.
Nobody can be sure which results will be reached by Roger Clemens. Will the government prove that he has lied before the Congress? Will he admit to taking prohibited drugs? Or will be the results opposite?

Does lack of changes in Clemens’ physical appearance prove that he hasn’t used steroids?

It is known by each baseball fan that Roger Clemens is charged with obstruction of justice. It is affirmed that he has lied before Congress about application of steroids and HGH.
The attorney Rusty Hardin noticed that Roger Clemens’ physical appearance didn’t change greatly before, during and after his working with Brian McNamee. The attorney affirmed that this aspect proved that Roger Clemens hadn’t taken steroids and other related drugs.
Increase of muscle mass is normally used by prosecutors as proof that a sportsperson administers steroids or/and other related products. But this tendency was not utilized during the governmental case against Roger Clemens. Nobody could confirm that muscles of Roger Clemens manifested that he had taken steroids and HGH. It is a difference between the case against Roger Clemens and that against Barry Bonds.
When it comes to the governmental case against Barry Bonds, feds called many persons in the trial that were able to testify that anabolic steroids promoted great changes in physique of this athlete. They affirmed that intake of steroids led to enhancement of muscle size, enhanced size of the head and testicular atrophy in Barry Bonds.
Thus, Rusty Hardin provided four photos of Roger Clemens. The photos manifested physical appearance of Roger Clemens, including the period of time when Clemens was working with the trainer Brian McNamee. The attorney pointed out that the photos showed that there were no changes in physical appearance that could support that he took steroids and HGH.
The attorney Rusty Hardin noticed that the photos displayed just the process of ageing. The masseur Cheryl Redfern also confirmed that she didn’t observe any changes in physique of Roger Clemens. Roger Clemens experienced neither back acne, nor gynecomastia, nor essentially increased muscle size.
Phil Garner a former Major League Baseball player also affirmed that there were not any significant changes in physical appearance and performance of Roger Clemens during working with the coach Brian McNamee.
The Assistant US Attorney Steve Durham put efforts to discredit the affirmation about lack of changes in Roger Clemens’ physical appearance during the cross-examination of Phil Garner. He claimed that while some steroids enhanced muscle size, others didn’t promote getting muscles. Thus, he affirmed that the photos could say nothing about steroid use.
Federal prosecutors want to take advantages in both cases: in the case against Roger Clemens and in that against Barry Bonds. While they affirm that physical changes in Barry Bonds display that he has utilized steroids, lack of changes in physical appearance of Roger Clemens doesn’t prove that he hasn’t administered steroids.

Mass murder used steroids and ECA before committing crimes

Anders Behring Breivik was charged with murder of 70 persons. He bombed governmental buildings in Oslo (Norway). Several teenagers of the Workers’ Youth League camp were also killed by him on Utoya island in July 2011.
This person prepared for the crimes substantially. He said that he had used steroid cycles.  Since he utilized steroids, these medications were blamed for the crimes by many journalists.
But what did specialists confirm? Joerge Moerland, a professor of forensic toxicology at the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, contested affirmations of these journalists. The forensic toxicologist Moerland confirmed that anabolic steroids were not responsible for the crimes committed by this person. But the toxicologist admitted that it was impossible to exclude that these drugs could lead to aggressiveness in Breivik.
An ECA, a combination of caffeine, aspirin and ephedrine, was also taken by Anders Breivik. In fact, this combination is commonly applied by bodybuilders in order to lose fat and stimulate themselves for workouts. It was set that Breivik has used great amount of the stack. The amount administered by him was by 50 % more enhanced than it is permitted under rules of European Union.
The toxicologist Joerge Moerland claimed that Breivik’s behavior was more essentially affected by the “ECA stack” than steroids. He explained that ephedrine might lead to desire to be involved in risky activities. Joerge Moerland claimed that Breivik’s central nervous system had been affected by ephedrine.
Nevertheless, the expert Joerge Moerland noted about limitation of the ECA’ impact. The amount of caffeine consumed by Breivik was equal to about 5 cups of coffee. Thus, the amount was not enough high in order to be blamed for the massacre.
Anders Breivik described his usage of steroids and dietary supplements in details. He also recommended other persons ordering steroids at Alinshop.
Anders Breivik noted that he didn’t like Dianabol because it was able to lead to water retention. He explained that Dianabol could add more body weight than users could carry. According to his statements, approximately 50 % of the mass acquired due to this medication is liquid retention. The murderer chose some combinations that were proper for his purposes.
Breivik studied advantages and disadvantages of different steroids in order to choose those who were appropariate for his purposes. He claimed that Testosterone Propionate had certain priorities over Dianabol. He also supposed that stacks of Dianabol with Aromasin or administration of Dianabol followed by intake of Winstrol could benefit essentially.
Thus, Anders Breivik prepared for the massacre scrupulously. He spent time in order to choose and plan steroid cycles and administration of dietary supplements. He also thought over each aspect linked with attacks and murders.
Although certain persons believed that Anders Breivik was legally insane, it’s wrong. It is evident that he has done it consciously.

Sydney Morning Herald reports about links between seizures of steroids by Australian Customs and illegal operations of motorcycle gangs

The newspaper “The Sydney Morning Herald” reports that outlaw motorcycle gangs are responsible for spread of illegal steroid use in Australia. The gangs get significant profit and low risks.
Nick Bingham, a detective, has noticed that New South Wales Police doesn’t focus on investigation connected with steroid use but anabolic steroids become targets of investigations, when police officers arrest motorcycle gangs for violation of other laws.
According to the detective Nick Bingham, although New South Wales police officials don’t raid houses of gangs for steroids, they find them, when searches for weapons and psychoactive drugs are conducted.
Bingham has noted that they ordinarily seize such amounts of steroids from motorcycle gangs which are only for personal usage. Quantities of other drugs that are commonly found in possession of gangs are much greater than those of steroids.
The detective Nick Bingham has noted that criminals like utilizing anabolic steroids in order to have threatening muscular physiques. They desire to look big and strong.
However Nick Bingham assures that gangs possess steroids only for personal use, the newspaper “The Sydney Morning Herald” presents opposite opinion. It reports that motorcycle gangs are involved in smuggling of steroids.
Although gyms are claimed to be the most important sources of steroids for bodybuilders, it is stated by “The Sydney Morning Herald” that some gyms have close links with motorcycle gangs. The Herald claims that many seizures made by the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service are linked directly with distribution of steroids by motorcycle gangs.
According to affirmations of Australian Customs, mail seizures of steroids have been enhanced significantly in comparison with past years.
Over 2, 000 seizures were made in 2009-2010 and over 5, 000 seizures of steroids were recorded in 2010-2011.
The majority of seizures were connected with personal intake of steroids imported by bodybuilders.

David Segui provides totally different information to various persons about steroid use by Roger Clemens

Federal prosecutors hope that the judge Reggie Walton will permit the Cuban-American former Major League Baseball first baseman David Segui to provide testimony in the trial linked with the case of Roger Clemens. This player had a conversation with Brian McNamee, the former coach of Roger Clemens. It is stated that they have spoken about intake of steroids by the former baseball star.
McNamee was chosen to testify against Roger Clemens because he turned out to be the only person who had direct knowledge about intake of steroids and other related medicines by Roger Clemens. Furthermore, he saved injection equipment: vials, syringes and needles that were allegedly mixed with the blood of Roger Clemens. DNA analysis was made in order to confirm whether it was Clemens’ blood.
Rusty Hardin, a defense attorney for Roger Clemens, said that the steroid evidence was made by Brian McNamee after the interrogation by federal prosecutors.
But prosecutors confirmed that David Segui told them that Brian McNamee said that he stored some things as evidence of steroid use by certain players in 2001. It was several years before the former trainer of Roger Clemens became the target of the investigation.
Information presented by Segui to federal prosecutors differed essentially from that provided to Jim Baumbach, a sportswriter. His statements provided to Jim Baumbach were published in an article in 2008. According to that article, David Segui confirmed that he had never discussed about steroids with his friend Brian McNamee.
David Segui learnt about implication of Brian McNamee into the trial of Roger Clemens only in 2006, when he read a piece of news in the Los Angeles Times.
Segui discussed openly about personal administration of steroids and other related medicines. He said that he had been asked many times by players of the Major League Baseball whether he had taken steroids. This person admitted that he had utilized them. But Segui claimed that he had never discussed about administration of steroids with Brian McNamee.
Segui supported McNamee’s decision to keep evidence about intake of prohibited preparations by his clients. According to the former first baseman of the Major League Baseball, it is a right decision because sometimes innocent persons are blamed but guilty individuals are covered. So, he could help to support the truth.
Although the judge Walton was asked to permit David Segui to provide testimony in the trial linked with Roger Clemens, the judge didn’t announce his decision yet.

Andre Berto is investigating conditions that must have led to his positives

The WBC welterweight champion Andre Berto tested positive for Nandrolone. The drug testing was conducted by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency (VADA).
He had to fight against Victor Ortiz on June 23, 2012 in Los Angeles. This boxer agreed to submit to random drug testing before the match. T: E ratio method and carbon isotope ratio testing were used; they both indicated about intake of the anabolic steroid Nandrolone.
It was already the second time this month, when the VADA tested fighters and caught them administering steroids. The first boxer that tested positive this month due to tests conducted by the VADA was Lamont Peterson. He was scheduled to meet Amir Khan. It is quite ironically that Peterson requested random blood and urine testing. The drug test conducted by the VADA showed that exogenous testosterone was in system of Peterson several weeks before the fight.
Financial position of several companies suffered due to tests conducted by the VADA. For example, Golden Boy Promotions lost essential potential profit due to positives of Lamont Peterson. It was set by Richard Schaeffer, the CEO of Golden Boy Promotions, that the company lost 250, 000 dollars.
The cancelation of the fight between Andre Berto and Victor Ortiz will probably not influence greatly on financial position of certain promotional companies because Andre Berto will be possibly replaced by another boxer who will meet Ortiz.
Andre Berto didn’t explain why he tested positive. This fighter hired the attorney Howard Jacobs that would represent and defeat him.
Andre Berto claimed that he had never utilized steroids. Thus, he noted that he investigated with his attorney what could cause positives for steroids. Andre Berto concluded that he had never cheated; he succeeded in sport because of hard trainings and dedication.
The attorney Howard Jacobs represented numerous other athletes that turned out to be victims of fake food supplements.
It is confirmed that since Nandrolone has very long half life and it is detected easily, it is not very popular among doping sportspeople. But it has been defined many times that some dietary supplements contained the substance nandrolone which caused positives for steroids. But since sometimes not every ingredient is written on the label, sportspersons become victims of contaminated sport supplements.

Chael Sonnen should not use steroids in days before fight against Anderson Silva

The American fighter Chael Sonnen is allowed to use anabolic steroids. The doctor Timothy Trainor noticed that this sportsman really suffered from hypogonadism.
What does this disease represent? Hypogonadism is related to insufficient secretion of testosterone. Physicians commonly recommend testosterone replacement therapy for treatment of this disease.
The athlete Chael Sonnen has acquired a therapeutic use exemption (TUE). Thus, this fighter is allowed to use steroids for medical needs and meet Anderson Silva at UFC 148 in July 2012.
According to prescription of Chael Sonnen’s physician, he has to introduce injections of Testosterone Enanthate and Testosterone Cypionate twice per week. The measures that are recommended have not been disclosed. But under rules of the Nevada Athletic Commission, blood serum levels of testosterone in this mixed martial artist should be within normal range on the morning after the fight against Silva.
The physician Trainor confirms that those that compete with TUE should be tested on the morning after the match to learn whether they have taken something right before the competition.
The doctor Trainor suggests that testosterone can cause performance-enhancing effects, if it is applied right before the fight. He confirms that injections must not be introduced in the days before a fight to prevent increased levels of testosterone.
But it seems that the NAC is not aware that steroids cause benefits connected with enhancement of performance, not only if they are utilized right before competitions. Application of steroids increases performance during trainings before competitions. And the benefits remain even after athletes stop administering them.
Sonnen had increased testosterone levels at UFC 117. He claimed that he had tested positive because he had been on TRT.  He appealed his suspension and it was reduced to 6 months from one year. But Chael Sonnen didn’t have any TUE that time.

Bulgarian weightlifter was caught trafficking cocaine during serving suspension for doping

The world champion in weightlifting Galabin Boevski went to nine months in prison because of illegal international drug trade. This sportsperson was arrested in October 2011 at the Guarulhos International Airport in Brazil after he attempted to board the plane with 8 kg of cocaine. This weightlifter was headed to Bulgaria. Cocaine was estimated. It could be sold at the price of 500, 000 dollars on the streets in European countries.
Galabin Boevski is a well-known person in Bulgaria. He is claimed to be one of the most well-known weightlifters in this country.
First he was caught administering steroids in 1995. Of course, he was suspended.
Then this athlete was caught taking prohibited products in 2004. It was the second time when he violated doping laws. In fact, Galabin Boevski didn’t test positive for any forbidden preparations. But anti-doping officials determined that he didn’t provide own urine. The urine that was provided by this weightlifter belonged to another individual. As a result, Boevski received 8-year suspension. During serving the suspension he was caught trafficking cocaine.
Galabin Boevski became prominent due to his achievements in weightlifting. This person won gold medals at some competitions: at the 1999 World Weightlifting Championships in Athens, the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney and the 2001 World Weightlifting Championships in Antalya.
At the 2003 World Championships in Vancouver this athlete and his teammates from Bulgaria provided urine samples that belonged to another person. It was determined by anti-doping officials that the 3 urine samples belonged to one individual. These sportspersons received suspensions. Boevski appealed the suspension but it was not successful.
Boevski broke some world records at various competitions. He held three world records. The best lifts of this athlete were following: a 162, 5 kg snatch, 196, 5 kg clean and jerk and a 357, 5 kg of two lifts at the 1999 Championships.
It is strange but Boevski’s reputation wasn’t destroyed in Bulgaria. He utilized his status of celebrity in sports in order to establish a Technogym fitness center in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. The center was named Atama Wellness and Spa.
Moreover, Maria Isabel do Prado, the Brazilian judge, affirmed that Galabin Boevski used also his status of celebrity in sports in order to smuggle the narcotic cocaine. She also noted that this sportsperson utilized the participation of his daughter in a Brazilian tennis tournament in order to hide his illegal deals connected with trafficking of the narcotic.
The weightlifter Galabin Boevski said that he would appeal the conviction.

Why did Andy Pettitte’s testimony shock Roger Clemens’ prosecutors?

The desire of the federal government connected with the case of Roger Clemens was following: they desired to prove that this person had lied before the Congress about usage of anabolic steroids and HGH. But the government couldn’t achieve this goal. It was expected that Andy Pettitte would tell the jury that Roger Clemens had admitted that he had administered the banned medicines during a conversation in 1999 or in 2000. But the statement of Andy Pettitte was shocking for prosecutors. This man said that he couldn’t confirm that Roger Clemens had used steroids and HGH because he was not sure.
Actually, why were the prosecutors shocked by the affirmation of Andy Pettittte? This man swore for the 2008 Congressional hearings on application of steroids in the Major League Baseball that Roger Clemens acknowledged that he had taken HGH. But he pronounced opposite testimony at the Barrett Prettyman Federal Courthouse in Washington.
Michael Attanasio, a defense attorney for Roger Clemens, asked Andy Pettitte whether he may affirm that he is 50-50 that he has understood wrongly Roger Clemens about HGH. Andy Pettitte answered that he is indeed 50-50 about this aspect.
When Clemens’ prosecutors heard Pettitte’s answer, they didn’t know what to do. They confirmed that Andy Pettitte never answered this way, when he was asked several times.
The U. S. District Court Judge Reggie Walton claimed that he understood that Andy Pettitte’s answer has been conflicted. In fact, his statement was following: “I don’t know”.
The attorneys for Roger Clemens used the moment of the prosecutors’ confusion. They asked the judge to ignore Andy Pettitte’s testimony because he was 50-50. The attorneys concluded that he probably misunderstood Roger Clemens or he forgot the details of the conversation.
The government has stated that the jury still allows taking into account the testimony of Andy Pettitte. ASUSA Dunham has confirmed that under federal rules jury is allowed to choose which affirmation to believe. He hopes that the jury will ignore the testimony that doesn’t support the government.
Thus, the testimony presented by Andy Pettitte and his wife led to problems. Testimonies of Andy’s wife during the first trial led to the declaration of a mistrial by the judge Walton.
Pettitte affirms that he is a friend of Roger Clemens. Clemens must also confirm that they are friends after Andy  Pettitte’s last testimony.

Vials with steroids were found at home of steroid user that shot some police officers

Law enforcement officials raided Cullen Mutrie’s house for a steroid investigation. This person shot five police officers at his home. As a result, the Greenland Police Chief Michael Maloney was killed; four police officials were seriously injured. The next morning Cullen Mutrie and a woman were found dead.
It is supposed that Mutrie was applying anabolic steroids at the time of the shootout. Jane Young, the New Hampshire Associate Attorney General, noticed that toxicology reports were waiting in order to learn whether metabolites of steroids were in the body of Cullen Mutrie.
Police officers reported that Mutrie had had a very muscular physique. This person worked at Genetix Fitness in Seabrook. He was described as a man that was 6 feet 3 inches tall. He weighed 275 pounds. During a search which was in July 2010 police officials found anabolic steroids at his home. The police officer Wayne Young found them in a coffee table. He said that he had observed a plastic bag with some vials. One vial was with powder; others contained solution. According to the labels, they were steroids.
The vials were analyzed by the New Hampshire State Crime Lab. It was claimed that the vials contained such products, as Trenbolone Acetate, Sustanon 250, Boldenone Undecylenate and Nandrolone Decanoate.
The professor of kinesiology John Miller was asked whether a link between the criminal actions and “roid rage” of anabolic steroids could present. The specialist noticed that it was plausible. But according to him, it is impossible to affirm that there was a direct connection between intake of anabolic steroids and the shootout.
John Miller supposed that steroids which were on the black market were provided from legitimate pharmaceutical companies. But he has been mistaken because the majority of steroids which are offered for sales on the black market are manufactured in underground labs. It is even suggested that Mutrie produced steroids.
Since a link between criminal actions and intake of steroids is a controversial question, not only police officers but also correspondents investigate the case linked with the cop-killer.

Miserable explanation connected with steroid use by Alistar Overeem was provided by his doctor

Alistar Overeem, a UFC fighter, appealed his suspension which was received by him for usage of anabolic steroids on April 24, 2012. But Alistar Overeem couldn’t win his appeal against members of NSAC. This fighter forfeited his license for 9 months. Then Alistar Overeem can return.
Alistar Overeem admitted that he had taken injectable testosterone which was advised him by his doctor. Alistar Overeem used the strategy that was considered to be boring. He noted that he had never used anabolic steroids or other related preparations intentionally. Alistar Overeem tried to make the NSAC believe that his injectable use of steroids was accidental.
David Chenoff, the defense attorney for Alistar Overeem, is experienced in representing well-known athletes.
The defense attorney called the personal physician of Alistar Overeem to testify during the appeal. It was believed that Dr. Molina would testify in defense for this athlete. Testimonies of this physician were very miserable. The doctor Molina provided an explanation for prescriptions of certain preparations that led to Overeem’s increased testosterone: epitestosterone ratio.
The treating doctor of Alistar Overeem admitted that he indicated and injected his patient with a mixture of Toradol and Dexamethasone because he had an injury. Actually, these products are used for anti-inflammatory needs. But administration of testosterone for recovery from injuries is not approved by the FDA.
It is suggested that the health care provider Molina hasn’t warned this fighter that these medicines contain the anabolic steroid testosterone. But it is obviously that he has never asked about it.
So, testimonies of Dr. Molina turned out to manifest lack of the evidence related to clinical needs for usage of prohibited medicines by Alistar Overeem. The health care provider couldn’t provide any reasonable explanation that could justify prescribing of Toradol and Dexamethasone to his patient. Testimonies of the doctor Molina worked against Alistar Overeem.
Actually, it was felt that Overeem was a victim of the physician’s quack.
But it is possible to suggest that this strategy was designed by the defense attorney for this fighter.
The commissioner Pat Lundval was probably impressed by the defense of Overeem. She even referred to him as to a “smart guy”.
The members of the NSAC seemed to be convinced that Overeem has been actually a great guy but he has surrounded himself with such questionable individuals, as the doctor Moline. They advised him to look for more qualified professionals in the future.
