Jeffrey George is the owner of a former famous clinic linked with hormone replacement therapy. The clinic was named “South Beach Rejuvenation”. Jeffrew George was accused in illegal distribution of anabolic steroids. As it was mentioned by investigators, he started tosell controlled substances through his clinic illegally. But in fact the owner of “South Beach Rejuvenation” took part in illegal activity of pain clinics established in Florida. The owner of “South Beach Rejuvenation” sold steroids via internet.
George and his twin brother Chris were leaders of a pain clinic activity. They got 40 million dollars due to illegal distribution of oxycodone and other analgesics during 2 years. This resulted in their several charges. Jeffrey George faced also a murder charge because a customer had died due to overdosing.
Jeffrey George hid his illegal operation through his clinic “South Beach Rejuvenation”. Anabolic steroids were advertising on the internet and in various magazines linked with fitness as a part of therapy conducted by the clinic.
It was not the first arrest of George because of steroids. He was arrested for possession of anabolic steroids with intentions to sell them in 2003. This person was sentenced to eight-month imprisonment. Later this person was involved in illegal distribution of anabolic steroids, intending to bypass Florida’s laws that allowed clinics to prescribe and sell steroids legally. This person didn’t have any medical education. But he established the clinic “South Beach Rejuvenation” and employed certain physicians that prescribed steroids without any fear. One of his employees was Daniel Hauser. He got 5, 000 dollars per week for prescriptions of steroids for clients of George’s clinic.
Since steroids were sold per internet and customers were far from the clinic, they had to perform certain tests in clinics which were located near to them. Then they filled results of tests in the certain blanks and sent to the “South Beach Rejuvenation” per internet. Hauser wrote them prescriptions.
Numerous sales consultants of the clinic administrated anabolic steroids too. Furthermore, they purchased large amounts of steroids with prescriptions and sold them on the side. The sales consultants also explained their clients how to apply and use together some steroids to achieve more positive effects in bodybuilding and sports.
Chris, George’s brother, helped his friend, Chris Hutson, financially to establish a clinic to distribute steroids. Thus, “LA Health and Rejuvenation” was opened.
Cynthia Cadet and Robert Meek were two physicians that were hired by Hutson to prescribe anabolic steroids. They got 1, 000 dollars per week.
The owners of these clinics and doctors employed by them were indicted on some charges, including illegal distribution of anabolic steroids and prescriptions via internet.
