Anti-doping agencies do not act fairly in some cases. Since certain persons are caught breaking anti-doping rules, the whole teams receive suspensions. Thus, sportspersons that don’t violate anti-doping laws suffer together with liars. Don’t you find it unfair? Why should good sportspersons be kept from making their hopes and dreams real, if other persons violate anti-doping laws?
The football program of the college from Waterloo was shut down for a year. It was due to results of an investigation. Everything started from a bust of a player who was caught having many vials of anabolic steroids and HGH. This detection resulted in many investigations conducted in Canadian colleges. The investigations were conducted by the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport.
One of investigations showed eight positives of the Waterloo football players. It led to decision to suspend the whole team for a year.
Unfortunately, fair players of the Waterloo College were suspended together with liars that used banned performance-enhancing preparations. Matt Vonk and Steve Ples played at Laurier before the scandal linked with steroids and the suspension. These two football players didn’t test positive for steroids. That’s why These football players hadn’t to be suspended.
These two players mada a decision to transfer to another college in order to realize their dreams linked with football. But Matt Vonk and Steve Ples received refusal. Thus, these two football players will be kept from playing football the whole year.
