Treasure Coast Pharmacy located in Florida was recently raided by some officials of U. S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA). This pharmacy is popular among sportspersons for compounding formulations of anabolic steroids. The DEA was not the only agency which took part in the raid. It is reported that the Florida Department of Health sent its agents to raid as well. It resulted in seize of some documents that were believed to contain records of prescribing physicians and clients of Treasure Coast Pharmacy.
Treasure Coast Pharmacy is supposed to be the largest producer of hormone replacement drugs. Obtaining of testosterone and other anabolic steroids, including Stanozolol and Nandrolone, from this pharmacy is widely discussed by numerous people on different forums. Earlier this pharmacy got the attention of the DEA because it was manufacturing steroid candies which contained Stanozolol. The DEA put efforts to create wrong impression that these candies were manufacturing for children’s use. It was written by William Llewellyn in a Microgram Bulletin of the DEA in a column for Muscular Development.
According to a report of the DEA, it was the first time, when Stanozolol was found to be an ingredient of candies. This report led to a fear among parents that their children might have already taken candies that include Stanozolol. Of course, it led to various articles about children and steroids which were printed by by media.
Many people may think that preparations that contain Stanozolol are produced in form of candies in order to attract kids to buy these drugs. But this conclusion is wrong. In fact these preparations are manufactured in more appropriate form for administration by adult individuals under supervision of physicians. Furthermore, they are manufactured by Treasure Coast Pharmacy that has a proper license for this need. It is suggested that this factor is not worthy of law enforcement’ and media’s attention.
A former addict was asked during TV news about legality of Treasure Coast Pharmacy’s activity. This man suspects that certain activities of this pharmacy are illegal. He refers to several men that are sitting in their cars in front of the pharmacy and waiting for something. The former addict claims that they are involved in illegal actions of Treasure Coast Pharmacy.
