Rampage Jackson states that even small amounts of testosterone have significant effects on users

The mixed martial artist and actor Quinton “Rampage” Jackson reported about effects of the steroid testosterone in the interview with Gary Alexander of “Fighters Only Magazine”. He talked about his decision to apply testosterone, about its effects on increase of muscle mass, weight of the body and his sexual life. He pronounced these words after his fail at UFC 144 in Japan.
Rampage Jackson was openly talking about his decision to seek a health care provider that could prescribe him testosterone replacement therapy. He talked openly because he believed that testosterone didn’t include in anabolic steroids. Rampage Jackson confirmed that steroids were for muscles but testosterone was natural. Thus, he was mistaken, considering that testosterone is not an anabolic steroid.
Actually, use of testosterone replacement therapy in mixed martial arts is a controversial question. Testosterone is used legally in case of hypogonadism (low testosterone secretion). So, mixed martial artists that suffer from this condition can obtain a therapeutic use exemption which allows to utilize the steroid testosterone legally.
But the issue which is widely discussed is whether the athlete who uses therapeutic measure of testosterone can obtain unfair advantage during competitions.
The most of sportspeople that have got a therapeutic use exemption for intake of testosterone for therapeutic needs deny receiving any enhancement of performance because of testosterone replacement therapy.
As for Rampage Jackson, he admitted that testosterone replacement therapy had enhanced his muscle mass, helped to get faster recovery from his injuries and improved his sexual abilities. Jackson claimed that he had had a knee injury. After he had utilized 3 doses of testosterone, the knee was healed. He gained bodyweight and muscle mass. This mixed martial artist confirmed that small quantities of the steroid testosterone had produced obvious changes in him. His sexuality was improved essentially; he started to feel as if he had been only 25.
Rampage Jackson blamed steroids for his impossibility to lose weight to meet criteria of the 206lb weight category.
Jackson states that he doesn’t violate any rule. He administeres testosterone and confirms that it is legitimately.
Jackson Rampage claims that he is happy that he applies testosterone.
