Mark Mansa, a businessman from Bethel (Connecticut), was accused in distributing anabolic steroids to students of High Schools from the Greater Danbury.
But it was not proven yet whether it is so, as it has been stated. Many persons don’t believe that High School wrestlers have bought and used prohibited preparations. High School wrestling is a favorite sport in Greater Danbury area. Affection to this sport blinds a lot of people wholly. They don’t even suggest that it may be true that wrestlers of High Schools have applied steroids, especially anabolic steroids.
Why are anabolic steroids punctuated specially? Anabolic steroids are used for increase of muscle mass in short period of time quite essentially. Thus, a lot of individuals suppose that while High School students of other sports might have administered steroids, wrestlers don’t belong to their class. Their affirmation has been supported by the wrestling coach Ricky Shook. His team is celebrated because of winning 10 State Open titles. The coach confirms that there is no any link with steroids.
Actually, wrestlers cannot take steroids or other related preparations to bulk up because there are strict weight indications that are established and controlled by the CIAC.
The wrestler Matt Saraceno was asked about possibility of using steroids by individuals that are implicated in this sport. This person noted that there was no any possibility of utilizing steroids. He mentioned that steroids couldn’t help to maintain the mass of the body down. He reported that it was not possible.
Thus, this wrestler contested affirmations of numerous individuals about possibility of utilizing steroids in wrestling. Since steroids are applied to induce enhancing muscle size, it would be as an unwanted reaction for a wrestler that tries to keep his body mass in order to meet criteria of certain weight category. In addition to this aspect, the rules linked with weight loss are very strict in wrestling. Even unessential changes in body mass can cause many problems. Sudden weight adding and adding of muscles will lead to certain problems like sudden weight loss.
The CIAC claims that wrestlers should avoid unnatural loss of body mass. Only concrete amount of body weigt may be lost during a season. The CIAC controls changing in body weight of wrestlers. The, the risks linked with intake of banned medications are very high for those who are involved in wrestling.
The trainer Shook notices that he doesn’t desire to train those who take prohibited preparations, alcohol and tobacco. He confirms that he says these words each year during interviews for the New-Times. So, the trainer states that he doesn’t coach any consumer of banned drugs. But if he finds such person in his team, he will announce about this situation.
The coach Shook says that wrestling is healthy in comparison with its position in past time. They have a particular program. The wrestlers are submitted to to urine tests and hydration. This is the sport that performs more tests than any other sport that is in Connecticut.
However the trainer has admitted that a wrestler can hide his administration of steroids from him, but it is unlikely.
Thus, wrestling avoids administration of banned products. There is hope that it will continue to follow this way.
